A few common questions we get asked regarding artwork, ordering and delivery.

Bleed refers to the extra area that extends beyond the edge of your final document size and must be included in your artwork before it goes to print. By adding at least 3mm of bleed on every side, you ensure that there are no unwanted white borders and that the final trim doesn’t accidentally cut into your design.

The RGB colour range has a much broader gamut, is generally used for web design and displays on monitors and differs from CMYK, so if you submit artwork in RGB, the printed result won’t match what you see on screen. Bright colours can look dull or muted once printed, which is usually not the desired outcome.

Before saving your PDF, make sure you convert your artwork to CMYK so you have a more accurate preview of how it will appear in print. You can use Photoshop to make any necessary colour adjustments after converting.

Yes. Templates are available for all products on request to aid in your correct artwork setup for print.
Simply email us before or after ordering and we will send you the appropriate file.

We provide proforma invoices for all orders where you can pay with your card or via BACS.

No. Please do not add crop or registration marks to artwork unless specifically requested or specified on a product template.

All orders are delivered free in the UK mainland although some postcodes are excluded. Please get in touch to confirm prior to ordering if you have any concerns.
We shall always advise of estimated delivery times when providing a quote.

These are as accurate as possible but courier or production issues can affect these occasionally and cannot be helped.

If you require a guaranteed deadline for receiving an order then please make this clear before ordering.

Here at Printal we aim to achieve the best turnaround times possible on all of our products.

Using automated printing systems, your order artwork is sent directly to the press. This means we’re not able to change, cancel or amend orders once they have been processed and into production but allows us to produce them as efficiently and quickly as possible for you!

We offer outcall site visits only and run an online only premise in the sense that we do not permit public visitors for safety and in order to maintain an efficient streamlined production process.

Due to continually changing product specifications, material costs and the broad range of products on offer we decided to simplify our site maintenance and simply offer a few of our most popular products online for direct / instant buys.
It also allows us to provide you with the best possible product price at the time of your quote.
